All shipments will be shipped UPS Ground. No exceptions.
Fragile items are packaged with appropriate materials to protect them; however, things can and do happen in transit. UPS or AIT should assume full responsibility for lost, damaged or broken items due to shipping mis-handling in transit.
If you return an item to Fred’s Fresh Deals because you received the wrong item from us, you are responsible for lost, damaged or broken items while the product is in transit. As such, you may want to consider purchasing insurance (which shall be solely at your expense) for the shipment.
It is the recipient’s responsibility to file a damage/loss report (whether with UPS or the carrier selected by the recipient in the event of a return) should damage or loss should occur. It is also the recipient’s responsibility to follow through with this claim until it is finalized.
Please note that it usually takes 45-60 days or longer for a damage/loss claim refund.
When a claims refund is granted from the shipping company, the buyer’s refund will be in the amount of actual purchase price only . Shipping and Packaging fees, as well as any insurance fees, will not be included in a damage/loss refund!
